Who are we?
Lessons on Love: a queer collective is an exhibition giving a voice to queer people and allies, allowing them to share their personal stories and experiences. Our goal is to challenge what queerness means and has meant, simultaneously teaching, and learning lessons from our queer peers from around the world.
What should you expect?
The queer community is one that aims to empower its members through openness, however, there are still queer people that are not afforded this luxury. By focusing on stories from real people in both the global East and West, we can explore the differences in how queerness is treated and experienced around the world.
Our exhibition encourages people to be openminded about the intersections of the queer experience, creating a space to learn and grow together.
