Bridging the Gap
Who are we?
Bridging the Gap is a unique initiative aimed at connecting different film hubs across the world.
This event provides a platform for young and emerging filmmakers to showcase their short films on an international stage, right in the heart of Central London.
We aim to bring together diverse voices and perspectives, creating a vibrant cinematic experience for the audience.
What should you expect?
The Bridging the Gap team has curated a selection of short films from talented artists around the world. We ask the audience to arrive 20 minutes before the screenings commence, giving ample time to explore our exhibition wall, which introduces the film creators and provides insights into their creative processes.
When the short films are about to commence, audience members will be ushered to their seats. Each film is no longer than 30 minutes, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience. There will be a 15-minute interval between each screening, during this time audience members are encouraged to help themselves to refreshments, as well as discuss the films and share their thoughts with fellow audience members. Engaging conversations about the films just seen are not only encouraged but celebrated.
Before leaving, we encourage audience members to pick up one of our brochures. This brochure provides a comprehensive overview of each short film, including detailed information about the cast and crew. It's a perfect keepsake, allowing the audience members to explore more about the talented individuals behind each film.
