Child's Play
Who are we?
Child's Play will become a place for self-reflection. Amidst the vibrant tapestry of childhood tales from diverse backgrounds, attendees are invited to contemplate how they have changed and reconnect with their imaginations. The walls, adorned with childhood images, are windows to the past, offering a glimpse into the reflections of past selves. We aspire to rekindle the sparks of creativity that continue to burn with us as adults.
What will it include?
This event invites adults to set off on a creative and reflective trip as a tribute to the magic of childhood creativity. Attendees will immerse themselves in carefully crafted storytelling, weaving tales of childhood adventures and fantasies while dressed in their chosen costumes. Guests can reconnect with themselves by engaging themselves in postcard making and painting their past selves.
Why does this matter?
Since 2021, funding for artistic pursuits has been severely reduced in public and private schools, with creative fields being struck off as low-value. We believe it is vital for today's adults to unlock what has been locked away in academia and reignite their creative selves.
