The Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony for the second annual CMCI Winter Festival will take place on 5 December 2023. It is an exclusive event for final-year BA CMCI students, as well as invited staff, guests, and important collaborators, to celebrate the opening of the festival. This ceremony has been organised by the Directors' Group, and we are excited to present to you an evening of speeches, performances, and opportunities to connect with your peers and share your events.

Bridging the Gap is a unique initiative aimed at connecting different film hubs across the world. This event provides a platform for young and emerging filmmakers to showcase their short films on an international stage, right in the heart of Central London.

R holds exhibitions and tie-dye workshops related to sustainable fashion. We aim to embrace fashion with sustainability by showcasing how fashion can be mutually supportive rather than fashion being a destructive factor environmentally.

The otHER is an immersive exhibition of women, presenting a multi-sensory environment of women and art. Combining art with themes that can be a bit clichéd, we expect the public to experience an immersive art world of women.

Lessons on Love is an exhibition giving voice to queer people and allies, allowing them to share their personal stories and experiences. Our goal is to challenge what queerness means and has meant, simultaneously teaching and learning lessons from our queer peers.

Recreating the Utopia

Utopia is an immersive experience for the audience to immerse themselves in the Amazon rainforest. It aims to provide the audience with an initial experience of serenity, which is then disrupted by the harsh reality of deforestation and powerful messages about its impact.
